Marketplace GUIDE

Template marketplace: buy, create and sell

Understand original template snapshots, secure purchases, private installation, creator onboarding and review.

On this page

A marketplace for editable starting points

Open Marketplace inside Community to browse approved templates, review your purchases or manage your own listings and sales. Ordinary browsing, selling and installation require active Suite access. A marketplace purchase is a separate one-off payment; it does not buy or renew a Suite subscription.

Read the listing’s app, preview, description, price and licence before checkout. Previews are examples of the submitted version. Fonts, images and advanced import or export behaviour can still depend on the destination app and its supported features.

Buy through verified checkout

Choose a listing and continue to its secure payment screen. Huqo sets the amount on the server; editing a browser value cannot change the actual price. A return or success page is not payment proof. The purchase becomes available only after the paid checkout is verified.

If your connection is interrupted, open Purchases and resume or check the existing purchase instead of starting another payment. You cannot buy your own listing, and an already usable purchase should be opened rather than bought again.

  1. Review the listing and total.
  2. Complete secure checkout once.
  3. Return to Purchases and wait for payment verification if necessary.
  4. Install your copy, or download the purchased editable backup.

Install without replacing your existing work

Installing makes a private copy in the appropriate Suite app or Studio. Your other projects are not replaced. Repeating installation returns the previously installed copy while it still exists; if you deleted that copy, you can create a fresh one from the purchased version.

A purchase is pinned to the version that was sold. Later seller changes are not silently inserted into your edited document. Review the installed copy, update sample text and images, and save your own work before using it for a customer.

What the purchase permits

The standard template licence lets you edit the purchased template for personal, business and client deliverables. Buying a template does not transfer the creator’s copyright. Third-party fonts, icons and other included material retain their own applicable conditions.

Do not redistribute or resell the editable template, sublicense it as a competing template product, or bundle it into an asset pack. A finished permitted client deliverable and the source template being offered for resale are different uses. Read /suite/community-terms before purchasing or listing.

Become a creator

Creators need active Suite access and an eligible Australian Stripe Connect account. Open creator setup, complete Stripe’s own onboarding and return to refresh its status. Card charging and payouts must be enabled before a paid listing can operate. Huqo does not bypass Stripe’s identity or business checks.

Marketplace proceeds use Stripe Connect. PayPal, Revolut and crypto preferences in Referral earnings apply only to the separate member referral programme; they do not redirect creator sales.

The platform fee is 15% of the sale price, leaving 85% for the creator before refunds, disputes or other applicable adjustments. Huqo absorbs Stripe processing fees from its platform share. You are responsible for your pricing, records and tax obligations; approval does not guarantee sales.

Prepare an original, reusable source

Create and save your own Studio graphic design or Suite Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms or Tasks document first. The marketplace captures a validated independent snapshot of that saved source. Uploaded-file templates, external URLs, PDF or Sign projects and video projects are not supported listing sources.

Submit only work you created and are entitled to license. Do not resell a purchased template, another creator’s work or an unchanged built-in template. A duplicate-content check helps prevent identical submissions but does not prove originality or resolve intellectual-property rights.

Remove personal details, client information, secret links and confidential images before submission. Huqo strips supported operational fields such as document comments, form publication and response state, and task assignment or completion state, but you must still inspect every visible word, image, formula and embedded instruction.

Write a clear listing and submit it

Choose the saved source and provide a descriptive title, useful summary, complete description, category, tags and an AUD price. State what the buyer receives and which app opens it. Confirm your rights and submit for review; a pending listing is not available for sale.

Prices currently range from A$5 to A$500. A creator can retain up to 50 listings, with up to 100 versions per listing. Individual validated snapshots are limited to 5 MB and retained creator versions share a 50 MB allowance. If storage or safety limits are reached, reduce the content or contact Support instead of repeatedly submitting.

  • Titles: 3–100 characters; summaries: 10–240; descriptions: 30–4,000.
  • Use a category of up to 40 characters and no more than 8 tags of up to 24 characters each.
  • Use accurate previews and sample data you have permission to distribute.
  • A revised snapshot requires review; an unpublished or suspended listing cannot take new sales.

Backups, cancellation and refunds

Your plan page links to Template purchases at /dashboard/suite/purchases. You can access eligible purchased editable backups after Suite expires. Active Suite access is required to install and edit them in the online workspace.

Use the purchase’s refund-request option to describe a problem. Requests are reviewed; submitting one does not itself send a refund or cancel a confirmed payment. Keep relevant information and contact Support if a payment remains uncertain. Australian Consumer Law and other non-excludable rights continue to apply.

A full refund or chargeback ends new downloads and installations for that purchase. An already created workspace copy is not silently deleted. Partial refunds do not automatically erase access, although an active dispute can restrict it.

Leave a useful buyer review

Genuine buyers can rate and review a template from their purchase. Explain the actual content and your experience rather than publishing private contact details or payment records. Creators cannot review their own listings.

Reviews are subject to moderation. A refund does not automatically erase a genuine review; report abusive or misleading material through the appropriate support or moderation channel.

For Huqo marketplace operators

Review the exact frozen version and its safe preview, not only the creator’s current working document. Check the rights attestation, originality, sample data, description, app compatibility, price and connected-account readiness. Approve, reject or suspend with a factual private note and preserve the version audit history.

A creator’s sale is accounted for through Stripe Connect, not the affiliate payout ledger. Before any actual refund, confirm the purchase, amount, existing refund state and evidence in the administrator marketplace queue. A verified Stripe refund can move real money and must not be confused with reviewing a request or recording an affiliate transfer.

Use the administrator snapshot download for an ownership or functionality investigation. Do not publish the editable snapshot or private creator/account details in a report response. Suspensions stop new sales; do not delete a buyer’s existing work as a moderation shortcut.

Review spelling, grammar and tone

Use Writing tools for on-demand spelling, grammar, clarity and tone suggestions. Review the named source and displayed AI token cost before checking. Suggestions only change your writing when you apply them. The Writing assistant guide explains supported fields, language choices, privacy and undo.
